- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪If I could give this doctor a 0 I would. I am really disappointed with him. I am not one to write any reviews, especially not a bad one. I went in about three years ago because I was taking birth control as directed and found out I was pregnant. I asked Dr. Elmedkhar if he could send me for a blood test and ultrasound to find out how far along I was since I had no idea I was pregnant and I wanted to make sure the baby was okay. He flat out told me he didn't see the point in doing all that because if a baby were to have defects you would not be able to tell very early on. I again explained to him that I was on birth control and hadn't missed a dose, which is why I wanted to know exactly or have an idea of how far along I was so that I was sure of the baby's health and whether I was "very early on" or further along and could see an obgyn. He proceeded to ask me if i was trying to plan an abortion or something since I kept asking him for a blood test! I was shocked. I had been seeing this doctor for three years before this and never had a problem. I had even referred people to him and gained trust with him. I felt betrayed and disgusted he would think something that terrible, especially considering he had met my other child in the past. I walked out of the office and never went back. I am writing a review now because it has bothered me since. So there you have it! Maybe he was having a bad day but either way it was extremely unprofessional and disgustingly rude. I have not recommended this doctor since, and will never recommend him again!July 15, 2017by maddie Valprivateuser
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am very pleased with Dr Elmedkhar. He's been my doctor for about 5 years and has cured every problem I've had. When I had back surgery he came to see me on his own time. He takes his time to listen and is never in a hurry. I would recomend him to anyone. He ranks right up there with the best Top Doc's of Delaware.July 12, 2017by A Google User
